Shipping, local delivery & pickup policy

Available delivery methods

Boxes, postage and stage-two weight rules

Express Post is charged at $32.95 for each shipping box. The first Shopify setup uses one $32.95 manual rate. If an order requires more than one shipping box, Fox & Hare will contact the buyer before dispatch to confirm the additional postage and will not charge it without consent. If the buyer does not accept the additional charge, Fox & Hare will offer a reasonable order adjustment or refund the affected unfulfilled items.

Stage two is to weigh and measure every product variant, then configure weight tiers so Shopify automatically adds another $32.95 box when an order approaches or exceeds 5 kg or cannot safely fit in one carton.

Local-only products

Natural hyacinth gift baskets and chilled Straight to the Heart hampers cannot be sent by post. They are available only by free local hand delivery within 80 km of Young or free pickup from MBS. Fox & Hare may contact the buyer to confirm that an address is eligible.

Dispatch and delivery timing

Order preparation begins after payment is accepted and any required details are supplied. Dispatch and delivery estimates shown at checkout or provided by Fox & Hare are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Carrier delays and events outside our reasonable control can affect delivery. If a preferred delivery date is requested, we will do our best but cannot guarantee it unless confirmed in writing.

Address, authority to leave and missed delivery

The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and suitable recipient details. Where authority to leave is available and selected, responsibility for the parcel passes when it is delivered to the nominated place, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Extra carrier, redelivery or return-to-sender costs caused by an incorrect address, refusal or missed delivery may be charged before redispatch.

Pickup

Wait for the “ready for pickup” notification before attending MBS Building Supplies, Unit 7, 24 Wickham Lane, Young NSW 2594. Bring the order confirmation and identification. Chilled orders must be collected within the confirmed window and refrigerated promptly.

Alcohol and chilled-food deliveries

Alcohol hampers include food, are packaged as genuine gifts and are delivery only. Build Your Own wine is an add-on only, requires a food item and cannot be bought separately. Purchaser and recipient must be 18+; the recipient must not be the purchaser; each gift is limited to 2 litres; and delivery is 7am–7pm. There is no MBS pickup or unattended delivery, and proof of age may be required. Chilled food uses the approved local process and must remain at a safe temperature.
