The terms that apply when customers browse, build and purchase a Fox & Hare gift.

Store and acceptance

These terms apply to the Fox & Hare Shopify store and orders placed through it. By using the store or placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms and the linked Refund, Shipping and Privacy Policies. An order is an offer to buy. Fox & Hare may accept or decline it, including because of stock, pricing error, delivery restriction, safety requirement, suspected fraud or inability to complete a requested personalisation. A contract is formed when Fox & Hare confirms acceptance.

Prices, GST and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless clearly stated otherwise. Shipping and optional extras are shown separately. Payment must be authorised through a payment method available at checkout. Obvious pricing or description errors may be corrected; if an accepted order is affected, the customer will be offered the corrected choice or a refund of the affected item.

Products, images and substitutions

Natural materials, handmade goods, flowers, food batches and screen displays can vary in colour, grain, placement and appearance. Styling props are not included unless listed. If an item becomes unavailable, Fox & Hare may contact the buyer to approve a suitable substitution of similar character and value. We will not knowingly substitute an item where allergies, dietary needs, fragrance, alcohol or personalisation make consent important.

Build Your Own hampers

The displayed total is based on the selected product variants and quantities. A large magnetic gift box, Fox & Hare ribbon, signature wax seal and handwritten message are included unless the product states otherwise. Gift baskets are local-delivery or pickup only. Very large selections may require additional boxes and postage under the Shipping Policy.

Personal messages and engraving

The customer is responsible for names, spelling, dates, addresses and message wording supplied. Fox & Hare may refuse unlawful, abusive or infringing content. Personalised work may begin soon after acceptance and cannot usually be changed or cancelled once production has started, subject to the Refund Policy and Australian Consumer Law.

Food, allergies and safe use

Ingredients and allergen information supplied by each maker or shown on product packaging should be checked before consumption. Products may contain or be made in facilities that handle common allergens. Customers should contact Fox & Hare before ordering if allergies or dietary requirements are relevant. Chilled items must be collected, transported, stored and consumed according to the supplied safety instructions.

Alcohol

Alcohol is included with food and packaged as a genuine delivery gift. Build Your Own wine is add-on only, requires food and cannot be bought separately. Purchaser and recipient must be different adults; each gift is limited to 2 litres; and delivery is 7am–7pm only. There is no alcohol pickup. Proof of age may be required and delivery may be refused where supply would be unlawful.

Intellectual property and acceptable use

Fox & Hare branding, photographs, website text and design are owned by or licensed to Fox & Hare. They may not be copied, republished or commercially used without permission. Customers must not interfere with the store, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or use the service unlawfully.

Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Fox & Hare is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the courts with jurisdiction there.
